Did you know you can train and develop staff for free through the ApprenticeshipNI Programme?
Your staff could benefit from gaining Level 2 and 3 qualifications in their vocational area, getting recognition for skills they are using every day in the workplace.
Employers are also eligible for an incentive payment, available for those whose employees complete the qualification.

BCW Training Ltd – NVQ Level 3 Price Cut
Are you an experienced, skilled worker? Do you want to give yourself the edge in your profession? Have you ever considered going for your NVQ Level 3?

Local employer support increases placements
There has been a marked increase in the number of our Training For Success participants gaining placements. The number of participants on placement has increased by 30% over the last few months.
Vocational training is vital to the success of the participants on the programme: teaching them the skills they need to complete their qualification and prepare them for work. BCW Training Ltd would like to give a big thank you to the local employers who have supported the Training For Success Programme and gave these young people a chance.

BCW Training Ltd Achieves Good Training Guide Recognition
We are delighted to announce that BCW Training Ltd has met the required standards and has achieved Good Training Guide recognition.
The Good Training Guide, the independent guide that gives potential trainees, parents and salon owners an informed choice when it comes to choosing a quality training provider is part of the Good Salon Guide, established in 1993. The Good Salon Guide is the only independent nationwide hairdressing guide. It recognises and promotes professional standards and services within the hairdressing industry.
Dawson Penn, Chairman of the Good Training Guide, commented “I am delighted that BCW Training Ltd has succeeded in reaching the standards required to achieve recognition by the Good Training Guide. Steps into Employment
The Steps to Work Programme is still proving a success for its participants in the Moyle area. BCW Training Ltd has helped 9 members of the Moyle community back into employment from June to November 2012.
The individuals attended a placement with the potential employers and then successfully gained employment in the following vocational areas: administration, electronic engineering, maintenance, retail and tourism.
We are so pleased for those who have gained employment through the Steps to Work Programme and we wish them all success in the future.

Prizing Giving 2012
BCW Training Ltd held its annual prizing evening in Greenlight Gateway Garden Centre on Tuesday 7th August 2012. The evening was a great success and was attended by the students, careers service representatives, members of the business community and local counsellors. It was an opportunity to showcase the hard-work of our learners whilst providing a good networking platform for BCW Training Ltd and its connections in the wider community.
Guest speakers and business owners: Zoe Campbell and John Quinn spoke about how BCW Training Ltd provided them with the training and confidence to start up their own businesses. Greenlight Gateway provided delicious food and refreshments and a great evening was had by all.
