Local employer support increases placements

There has been a marked increase in the number of our Training For Success participants gaining placements.  The number of participants on placement has increased by 30% over the last few months.

Vocational training is vital to the success of the participants on the programme: teaching them the skills they need to complete their qualification and prepare them for work.  BCW Training Ltd would like to give a big thank you to the local employers who have supported the Training For Success Programme and gave these young people a chance.

If you are a local employer in Moyle and are interested in being a placement provider for the Training For Success Programme (16 to 18 year olds) or Steps to Work Programme (18 years +) please visit the Employers section of the website at www.bcwtraining.co.uk or call us on 028 2076 2902.

Prizing Giving 2012

BCW Training Ltd held its annual prizing evening in Greenlight Gateway Garden Centre on Tuesday 7th August 2012.  The evening was a great success and was attended by the students, careers service representatives, members of the business community and local counsellors.  It was an opportunity to showcase the hard-work of our learners whilst providing a good networking platform for BCW Training Ltd and its connections in the wider community.

Guest speakers and business owners: Zoe Campbell and John Quinn spoke about how BCW Training Ltd provided them with the training and confidence to start up their own businesses.  Greenlight Gateway provided delicious food and refreshments and a great evening was had by all.
