BCW ICT Students take part in Hour of Code
Today in our ICT class we decided to do something a little different! We thought it would be a good idea to see how software and games were made.
We each took part in an Hour of Code activity from the Code.org website and by the end of the lesson we had all coded a fully working game! Some of us made Flappy Bird games and others made Minecraft games. Some of us even programmed characters to dance to different types of music.
Everyone learned the basics of how games are made and really enjoyed the class.

Earn to Learn Hairdressing Success

Trainee Fundraiser Event
Our hairdressing trainees are having a fundraising event. Come along and support them in their work. Pay what you wish, everything goes to Solas. Solas Moyle helps people to improve their mental, emotional and physical health.
Barber Training Day
Our Barber Training Day took place on Monday 30th November 2015 with Ruairi McCarthy as he demonstrated Turkish Barber Skills in Hair Design, Hot Towel Shaves and Hair Cuts.

2015 Annual Open Day
BCW Training Ltd are holding our annual open day on Thursday 20th August 2015 between 10am and 4pm at our premises in Moyle Enterprise Park, 61 Leyland Road, Ballycastle. If you are a school leaver and interested in vocational training please come along and see what BCW Training Ltd has to offer.

The hairdressing and barbering section requires clients on Monday and Tuesday mornings mainly for cuts and styles by our adult trainees. It is completely free, call Roisin on 2076 2902 to book an appointment.
