BCW Construction Training Service

BCW Training Ltd is a specialised training organisation based in Ballycastle, North Antrim. The organisation has more than 20 years of experience of vocational, IT and Skills for Life training. We offer a professional training service in the following areas including plastering, bricklaying, joinery and plant and Health and Safety training.

The Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) is delivered on a regular basis at our main training site and can be delivered on-site across Northern Ireland, as agreed by our clients.

CSCS is the leading skills certification scheme within the UK construction industry. CSCS cards provide proof that individuals working on construction sites have the required training and qualifications for the type of work they carry out. Most principal contractors and major house builders require construction workers on their sites to hold a valid CSCS card.

BCW Training Services are approved and recognised by CITB (NI) and if your company is a member of CITB you may be eligible for funding. We can help you register and access funding.

QUALIFYING THE EXISTING WORKFORCE

Free NVQ Level 2 Qualifications for the Construction Industry

The Qualifying the Existing Workforce project will access 1000 currently unqualified, experienced, employed construction workers to NVQ Level 2, helping to increase productivity and meet the industry’s skills challenge. The project is being delivered by CITB- Construction Skills NI in partnership with the Department for Employment and Learning (DEL) and the joint Council for the Building & Civil Engineering Industry.

Plant Assessments and Health and Safety Courses

The CPCS renewal test helps to ensure that key knowledge of each plant category or group of categories is maintained, in order to renew a CPCS competent operator (blue) card.
