New term, new start!
September has proved a busy month at BCW Training Ltd. We have 12 new trainees on the Training for Success Programme. The new trainees have settled in well and are learning the ropes. We have new trainees in the areas of Hairdressing, Retail, Bricklaying and Plastering.
Our 2nd Years also have been kept busy and secured several placements in local businesses. This ‘on-the-job’ training provides the invaluable experience that our trainees need to improve their skill-set. We are very grateful to all local employers who support BCW Training Ltd and give our trainees placement opportunities.
If you are interested in becoming a placement provider please get in touch with us through the website or call BCW Training Ltd on 028 2076 2902.
Placements on the increase
There has been a marked increase in the number of our Training For Success participants gaining placements. The number of participants on placement has increased by 30% over the last few months.
Vocational training is vital to the success of the participants on the programme: teaching them the skills they need to complete their qualification and prepare them for work. BCW Training Ltd would like to give a big thank you to the local employers who have supported the Training For Success Programme and gave these young people a chance.
If you are a local employer in Moyle and are interested in being a placement provider for the Training For Success Programme (16 to 18 year olds) or Steps to Work Programme (18 years +) please visit the Employers section of the website at www.bcwtraining.co.uk or call us on 028 2076 2902.
